An abbreviated version of a recent conversation held in the car on our way to meet Harold's Mom for lunch:
Ben: "Whatch you thinkin' about Dad? Whatch you thinkin' about Mom?"
(I don't in fact remember what Harold and I were thinking about at the time).
Mom: "What are you thinking about Ben?"
Ben: "I'm thinking about ice cream."
1-2 minute pause.
Ben: "It's fun to get ice cream!"
Hint taken.

Though I had not visited this site lately, I love the story of Ben and Lilah. So wonderful to read about my grandchildren. Couldn't think of a better topic!
